Alfred Deep Water Culture 1-Plant System
Starting your hydroponics journey shouldn't be complicated or expensive. The Alfred Horticulture DWC 1-Plant System provides a streamlined, efficient solution for growers looking to maximize yields in a compact space. This system eliminates the guesswork of traditional soil gardening by delivering oxygen-rich nutrient solution directly to the roots, resulting in faster growth and healthier plants. Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned pro, this system simplifies the growing process, allowing you to cultivate herbs, vegetables, and flowers 365 days a year. If you find yourself needing more capacity, explore the Alfred DWC 2-Plant System or the 4-Plant version from the Alfred Horticulture collection.
Convenience is at the heart of this design. The system arrives with pre-drilled holes and all necessary components, meaning you can be ready to add your nutrient solution within minutes. The included air tubing is provided in a single length, giving you the flexibility to customize the layout to fit your specific grow tent or room. While hydroponics offers incredible rewards, maintaining the system is straightforward: a weekly scrub and nutrient change, followed by sterilization between grows, ensures your plants thrive in a bacteria-free environment.

FAQs
Deep Water Culture is a hydroponic method where plant roots are suspended in a highly oxygenated nutrient solution. This allows the plant to absorb nutrients and oxygen more efficiently than in soil.
It is recommended to perform a complete reservoir change every one to two weeks. Between changes, you should top up the water and maintain the proper pH levels.
Yes! While soil is often considered more forgiving, this DWC kit is designed for ease of use with pre-drilled holes and all components included, making it an excellent entry point into hydroponics.
Absolutely. Any high-quality hydroponic nutrient line will work with the Alfred DWC system. Using premium nutrients will generally yield the best results.
This system is perfect for a wide variety of plants, including large peppers, tomatoes, flowering herbs, and other high-yielding crops that benefit from intensive root oxygenation.
